The new retractable roof of BC Place is one of the defining features of the Vancouver skyline. Its cable-supported roof is the biggest of its kind in the world, and allows to tailor the atmosphere for any event in just 20 minutes. At BC Place you can enjoy summer festivals in the sun, football games under the stars or indoor exhibitions comfortably protected from the rain.
As well as being a
concert venue and home of the BC Lions CFL team, BC Place holds regular trade and consumer shows including the Vancouver International Boat Show, the Outdoor Adventure Show and the Pacific International Auto Show.
